Análisis de la carga fúngica en el aire de la sala “Fragmentos de Historia a Orillas del Nilo” y del exterior del Museo de La Plata, Argentina
Abstract
An aeromicological study of fungal spores in the air, its seasonal dynamics and the analysis of the incidence of environmental factors on the risk of biodeterioration were carried out in the Egyptian room of the Museum of La Plata. Eighteen types of fungal propagules were detected. The annual average of UFC/m3 air for the 3 sites of the room showed 31158.90 elements, compared to 28046 in the external site. Aspergillus niger, Beauveria, Fusarium oxysporum and Penicillium were the most abundant types. The analysis of the daily variation of temperature and humidity inside the room indicated that the out of range variable was relative humidity. The combined strategies of aerobiological monitoring provide new tools for the evaluation and prediction of the life time of the different materials.
